Delfinario Cayo Guillermo (dolphinarium)
This dolphinarium is located near the entrance of Cayo Guillermo, on the left after crossing the Hemingway bridge (when coming from Cayo Coco). See the interactive map at the bottom of the page. It opened in October 2012 and belongs to the Cuban group Palmares S.A.
The delfinario has three semi-natural enclosures allowing the circulation of sea water and to be interrelated with other species of the marine biodiversity. Other services found at the Delfinario include: A lobby with chairs and tables, a bar, bathrooms, changing rooms with lockers, showers, and a professional Photo Service.
Admission fee is 5 USD (children 3 USD) for people who just want to visit the place or accompany a person who is swiming with the dolphins. Taking photos is allowed. The interaction and swiming programs are usually done from 9:30 to 10:30 in the morning, and from 1:30 and 2:30 in the afternoon.

• Swim with Dolphins - Adult 110 USD / Child 60 USD
Includes: Welcome with dolphin jumps, dolphin greetings with pectoral fins, belly touch, dolphin kiss on the cheek, dolphin jumps, dolphin dance, foot-push by two dolphins, dolphins tow with dorsal fins, dolphin hug, goodbyes with dolphin jumps. Duration: approximately 30 min.
• Interaction in the water - Adult: 55 USD / Child 27 USD
Includes: Welcome with dolphin jumps, dolphin greetings with pectoral fins, belly touch, dolphin kiss on the cheek, dolphin dance, dolphin touch, goodbyes with dolphin jumps. Duration: approximately 15 min.
• Interaction from the platform - Adult 25 USD / Child 15 USD
Includes: Welcome with dolphin jumps, dolphin greetings with pectoral fins, dolphin kiss on the cheek, belly touch, goodbyes with dolphin jumps. Duration: approximately 15 min.
Photo/Video Service: During the interaction a professional photographer will take many pictures and videos of you with your new marine friends. You may buy these photos/videos (on a DVD) from the on-site Photo-Shop, if you wish.
WARNING! We recommend that you verify the content of the DVD before leaving the dolphinarium.
When interacting with dolphins, please...
• Don't wear jewerly as it may hurt the dolphins' skin.
• Do not have suntan lotion recently applied as it may affect the dolphins' sight.
You can go to the Delfinario by yourself and pay on-site, or you can book an excursion from the Tour Desks at your hotel. If you book a Dolphins tour then the transfers between your hotel and the Delfinario are included. How to get there:
You can go to the doplhinarium by taxi or with the Hop-on/hop-off bus service. If you opted for an organized tour, then transportation in an air-conditioned bus from/to your hotel is included.
